Description

This course is aimed at both medical and nursing staff that manage paediatric patients in emergency settings. This multidisciplinary course provides simulation training on a range of emergency situations based in the emergency department, using high fidelity simulation and informative debriefing sessions facilitated by expert faculty.

This course is suitable for a range of staff – medical staff (ST3 and above) in anaesthetics, critical care, emergency medicine and paediatrics; advanced care practitioners/advanced nurse practitioners working in these areas, and nursing staff in both emergency departments and paediatric units.

The course is mapped to the RCEM 2021 curriculum, and is an excellent opportunity to experience high acuity, low occurrence scenarios in a safe learning environment (and have Supervised Learning Event tickets completed by the faculty)
