This course for CMT1s has been developed based on the Medical Core Trainee curriculum. It will cover emergency presentations such as cardiorespiratory arrest, as well more common presentations such as breathlessness.
The core trainee will lead a team in diagnosing and managing the patient, a high-fidelity simulated mannequin, as well as perform practical procedures such as external pacing. The course facilitators will also gladly complete a Mini-CEX for participants’ portfolios.
In response to feedback we have dropped the number of participants from 12 to 6 people per course. Lunch, tea & coffee are provided.
